Market growth was impressive over the last 5 years. 10,851 TAVI/TAVR were implanted in ~60 hospitals (2017). Edwards Lifescience still leads the market (58.9%) vs the challenger Medtronic (41.1%). In 2019, Boston Scientific comes to the market with its Accurate device. Abbott should enter the market sometime in 2020/2021. Shares should change soon.
